Cooking class

For Mike's birthday this year, we thought we would celebrate it by going somewhere or trying something new together. So after much searching and consulting, I found this casual participation cooking class offered by Cook Shop. The class sounds quite interesting on their web site. So i signed us up and there we went. It is a 3 hours class with 18 people plus the chef. The chef that night was Romy Prasad whom is the executive chef at Savory Coast Restaurant. It was a 5 course menu. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, and also found the class very informative. Through interaction, the chef shared a number of his cooking techniques with us. Mike definitely had a good time. Then again, he's not a hard person to satisfy. All he needs are great food, a little wine and good company (that's moi). =D
