In Portugual (day 5)
Today is another tiring day. We drove into Evora (it's a mile away from our hotel) and we pretty much walked around all day. We walked for at least 6 hrs straight and I think we hit all the scenic point there is in town. OH, we finally saw asian tourist! A bunch of them. We saw this japanese tour at one scenic point. It's a bunch of old japanese men and women. There was also a young asian couple. We also saw quite a number of other tourists that are like us. Each holding their own copy of a map of Evora and a copy of the lonely planet guide book. That made me feel some what at ease. Just knowing that we are not the only tourist in town. We hit up another local restaurant today. Food was great as usual. We decided that tomorrow, we will detach our dinner decision from the guide book or other's suggestions but to try our own luck. We figuere that since this is such a small town, we can't really go wrong at any one of the local food joints. Whereas in a big city, there are bigger range between good and bad food joints.
Tomorrow we will walk around some more. Go to the local market, and do some more city search.
